Nick is responsible for Digital and IT across AstraZeneca’s Emerging Markets (International) and Japan – covering AsiaPac, MEA, Russia Eurasia and Latin America – leading a diverse team of 28 nationalities. Nick is also responsible for Health Innovation Hubs in International. Nick is a member of the International Commercial Region leadership team. Nick focuses on enabling new patient experiences and outcomes through exploiting innovative Digital solutions in the end to end patient journey (and also HCP journeys eg education) – and accelerating transformation of healthcare. In International, building partnership eco-systems enabled by innovative tech is a strategic focus, harnessing the entrepreneurial spirit of Emerging Market. Expanding our reach Digitally to enable patients to benefit from new healthcare solutions (incl medicines) from both rural and city settings is a passion. We are partnering to transform ways of working through International to embrace a digital mindset, approaches and skillset. Nick started his career at ICI in 1987 and has worked in Asia, Europe and North America in various IT / Digital functions for Commercial, R&D and Infrastructure throughout his career. Nick has taken International Assignments based in Shanghai, Toronto and Gothenburg, Sweden. Nick went to college at Manchester Metropolitan University. Nick is married with 2 children – and is based in Cambridge, UK.
